Univex is proud to announce that we have been recognized by WGTV as ‘World’s Greatest’ Foodservice Equipment Manufacturer!  In January, we were contacted by How 2 Media Senior Producer Zack Harley impressed with our overall online presence and hometown feel.  A casting call was promptly scheduled for the following week.

Director of Corporate Administration, Jeremy Papadinis and Marketing Manager, Paula Veale regaled how Jeremy’s grandfather packed up his one working G-Peeler and drove cross-country to a tradeshow in Arizona.  The following week, he had to figure out how to fulfill an order of 500 for the US Military.  Thus, Univex was born.

Over the next few weeks, Paula was back-and-forth with producers going over regional accommodations, facility layout and operations and our upcoming availability.  Friday, January 23rd we received the e-mail: Univex was selected as ‘World’s Greatest Foodservice Equipment Manufacturer’.

Our team went right to work: cleaning, landscaping, organizing and making sure our factory was in tip-top shape for filming.  On a cloudy Tuesday in April, the Univex headquarters, tucked into a residential neighborhood in Salem, NH became a filming studio.
